Headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, ASI Technologies, Inc. has been a leading manufacturer of high speed, high performance door systems for government service, commercial, refrigerated and clean environment markets for over 40 years.

In 1981, ASI patented a hydraulically powered door operation system that vastly improved the speed and reliability of its automatic doors.

The MARATHON® division was established in 1985 to introduce our new high speed overhead doors to the industrial market. However, the speed and reliability of these new doors,  proved to be a benefit to commercial, municipal and government sectors, as well.   

With security becoming an increasing concern for building managers and government officials nationwide, the Marathon Hydrarol was the first rigid over-head door system that could open and close within seconds, providing a level of security that had not been available before.

Previously, the only roll-up doors available, were not designed to handle high use applications and would often break down, creating breaches in a building’s over-all security during repairs. The Hydrarol’s hydraulic drive meant we could offer an overhead door with an extended cycle life and help to eliminate door "down time."

Auto dealers, fleet and transit garage managers also discovered that, MARATHON high speed doors performed well in their maximum cycle applications and operated quickly enough to prevent energy loss. These same high speed high performance features are integral to our fabric door designs which are available in exterior, as well as, interior fabric strengths.

In 2003, ASI received a “GSA” vendor number simplifying the purchasing process for government customers.  Classified as a small business, service disabled veteran owned company, ASI has continued to manufacture cutting edge, high performance doors designed to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of our customers.
