Summary

The Marathon Excel single sliding, stainless steel
PhireÔ door has a U.L. 10B, 90 minute fire rating rating and is available in manual or power operation.

Features
  • Unitized high strength 1-3/4" thick 16 gauge stainless steel panel for easy cleaning. Stainless steel  (20 gauge) edge capping for added strength and protection.
  • Corrosion-resistant, heavy-duty door hardware.  Recessed stainless steel pull handles. 
  • Top/bottom guidance system positively maintains door seal and position. Ensures fast, controlled operation with minimal gasket wear.
  • Adjustable top/bottom panel hardware for in-field adjustments. Maintains a positive and tight seal.
  • Full perimeter containment seal under positive/negative pressure.
  • Stainless steel shroud conceals rail (and operator on powered model)  
  • U.L. 10B classification 90 minute rating.
  • Stainless steel fusible link.
  • Spring closure with adjustable closing speed to close door upon release of fusible link.

Power model also includes:

  • Electromechanical operator with NEMA 4X, U.L. 508A control panel.
  • Specially designed heavy-duty gearbox.  Manual operation during unexpected power failures.
  • High strength Kevlar drive belt for quiet reliable operation.
  • U.L. 325 classified operator and system.

Panel Construction
  • Unitized design.
  • 16 gauge stainless steel continuously welded panel.
  • 20 gauge stainless steel edge capping.
  • Full perimeter gaskets: Non-marking gray vinyl, blade type.
Insulation
  • 1-3/4” thick honeycomb core.
Operation
  • Powered model has 1/4 h.p. electromechanical operator with NEMA 4X  fiberglass control box.Open - 24”/sec. Close - 18”/sec.
  • (2) remote push plates.
Performance Features
  • Reversing edge for instant stop/reverse.
  • (1) Send & receive reversing photoeye.
Options
  • Galvanized steel clad panel.
  • Flat shroud (requires 14” headroom).
  • Vision panel - wire mesh or clear fire lite (optional sizes).
  • Available in 20 or 45 minute fire ratings.  (Larger vision panels available with these ratings.)
